35 GTR on 16x44 Go Devil boat?
Any one ever had a 35 GTR on a 16x44 Go Devil boat? I'm thinking it's too short for the weight. Is it going to squat too much in the rear?

Yes and will not respond in 3 man loads like an 18 ft hull...
However it is a durable proven hull and many have run larger SDs on them or GD 1648s like myself once upon a time till I went to an 18ft...
Just that it was designed for the 12 to 23 hp LT engines available 25 years ago...
The oldest had no side crimps and were .100 gauge - later they used more stringers and .125 gauge - then added side crimps - then redesigned the nose to turn better at the higher speeds of a SD - finally all are tall transom....
So there have been at least 5 versions of the GD 1644 - but it still works best with a 23 LT.... However solo or two man very effective with a SD....

Thanks for the info. I think it's a 2001. I'm trying to find a used hull and they are hard to find near GA. I can find complete rigs but not hull only. I really want a 18 but would settle for a 17. May have to try this one out and resell if it don't work out.

Go ahead and put an add on the classifieds then for this hull. I doubt you will be happy with it.
Georgia is not a big state, how about you drive to Louisiana and pick up a hull that will do what you want instead of settling for far less than what you desire?

2001, Is that when they were still .100? I’m in GA, let me know if you want to sell it. I got a regular ass 1648 with horizontal bracing, that would probably be an upgrade for me.
