I have a 15ft flatboat that I want to put a mb mini on . it is a tall transom and I think the mb is short transom. does anyone make something to bolt on the transom to lower the that will work ? |

Fab shop can cut down the transom.... Cut in a notch and weld in extra reinforcement to carry that bad boy... |

That’s what I did, ripped out the old transom, cut down and added new tubing. Here’s a pic that shows the notch cut out and how it was rebraced. 261BA42E-68AB-4BB6-9223-0437C7D69D50.jpeg |

I’d rather spend the money on a new housing for the Motor and make it a long shaft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes - but the average 15 foot jon has a transom designed for an outboard you can walk with in one hand - not a 250lb MM ! Transom will need extra bracing either way - or hull wont last long.... |
