Anyone ever run across any poling platforms for a 44" godevil? There don't seem to be any used ones out there and I don't really want to shell out the $500 for one new. If not, has anyone ever had a platform fabricated? Whats a ball park figure on getting one fabricated? |

The SD ones are taller than the long tail ones I believe. I haven’t owned a SD one but when I put my 23GDSD on my boat, the air filter box rubbed the bottom of the platform. I had to build some spacers to make it work with my motor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Longtail poling platform is shorter. I’ve had 3 gd boats that all had poling platform, 2 were Surface Drive boats with tall playformstand last one was a 16/44 long tail rig with shorter platforms |

Will I'm near athens so NE. I know my signature says I've got a longtail but I just got a 35 GDSD put on the boat, I had no idea there would be a difference in platform height to be honest. |

I didn’t know there was a difference either, but the last go-devil rig I had was a 2000 model 16/44 with a 23 longtail and the poling platform was considerably shorter than the 2 newer 2 Surface Drive rigs. It may have been just bc the the older boat was built for a long tail, now they may build them all the same height....not sure |
