Clear Coat on KEM 400
Searched and couldn’t find the information.
Has anyone used Sher-Clear on KEM 400?

Re: Clear Coat on KEM 400
PPG products lay fine over kem 400 so I dont think you will have a problem if its a quality product .

Re: Clear Coat on KEM 400
I was thinking about not doing a clear coat over it. I have read if you have to do a spot touch up or something after the clear coat is applied, the newer clear coat wouldn’t go on as well.
Thinking about just letting it cure a week or two and calling it good.

Re: Clear Coat on KEM 400
You shouldn't have to clear coat over KEM-400. It's tough enough as it is. If you are clear coating to knock down the sheen then you didn't have the Sherwin store add flattening agent to get it down to a 3-5% sheen. That is what they do for the boat manufacturers.
