Go devil hull
I have a 16/60 go devil hull. I was wondering if any of y’all have cut a hole in the front deck to slide the gas tank in to get it out of the way?

Re: Go devil hull
Add factory deck extension and tuck a pair of tanks and battery under there and your done.... They will ship it and you can find a local shop to weld it in....

Re: Go devil hull
I cut my front deck open and put my tank in there when I had my 1644. It worked great. You’ll have to hollow all of the foam out of there to get the tank in, but it’s not bad.

Re: Go devil hull
I built an aluminum tank under my deck extension.

Re: Go devil hull
I want to say I posted a pic of mine on a similar thread. See if you can find it on the search function. If not, I’ll try to remember to get a picture tomorrow. Previous owner did it, not me, so I can’t speak to the difficulty. It’s great to have all of the extra storage up there.

Re: Go devil hull
Just did it this winter . Very happy with the results . Took out 40 pounds of foam and now have more storage room. Haven’t put the gas tank in yet because aluminum welding is crazy expensive in Alaska . Will finish the project this winter . It was a royal pain in the ass to get the foam out IMO. Did the back pods aswell, 60 pounds of wet foam. Boat has so much more room . Local go devil sales rep said if I ever sell the hull I don’t need to post an add just call him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
