Post short to long transom swap, help needed
how much trouble and $ is it to take a short transom mudmotor and convert it to a tall? when a motor is trimmed down to parrallel with boat, should prop be lower than thw bottom of boat and if so how much? I've got a 17inch transom on boat and I'm wandering how much trouble and $ swap would be.

No --- the shaft should run downhill to engage the water --- otherwise
the front end of your MB would be blocking the water from reaching
the prop..... Post some pics with motor trimmed down all the way....

Tried motor shims yet ?

From your other thread - concensus was - transom was 1" too tall and had too little angle...

We really need a whole lot more info to help you out.

Pictures of the motor trimmed at all different heights and pictures of the boats bottom and pods near the transom along with prop measurements would help.
