 Drive shaft vent??
I am about to wrap up a 16hp sd build and I'm alittle unclear about one thing. Since there are seals on each end of my drive shaft housing, do I need a vent in the tube to relieve pressure or will the pressure be minimal with tapered roller bearings? I know my lt with bronze bushings would build up pressure and grease would come out of the top.

Really 23 views and no one has an answer. I thought you guys were supposed to know mud motors.

 Drive shaft vent??
Use the auto lubricator. It will compress with pressure while keeping the shaft filled with grease.
