need a measurement on m/b belt housing

 need a measurement on m/b belt housing i have a question is the measurement where the trim hooks to the belt housing the same on all mb . can u take a trim for a new motor and put on old hyper drive

Re: need a measurement on m/b belt housing I think so as long as your not talking the new style merc trim. I didn't specify what year mine was for the bear trim and it mounted up fine?

Re: need a measurement on m/b belt housing 1) not that I'm trying to correct you, but the trim doesnt hook to the belt housing.
2) some units can be swapped/upgraded on the old hyperdrive frame, but as smoke said, you cant upgrade to the new hydraulic trim made by Mercury.
