 need a measurement on m/b belt housing
i have a question is the measurement where the trim hooks to the belt housing the same on all mb . can u take a trim for a new motor and put on old hyper drive

I think so as long as your not talking the new style merc trim. I didn't specify what year mine was for the bear trim and it mounted up fine?

1) not that I'm trying to correct you, but the trim doesnt hook to the belt housing.
2) some units can be swapped/upgraded on the old hyperdrive frame, but as smoke said, you cant upgrade to the new hydraulic trim made by Mercury.
