 Modified GDSD and prop selection
I put a few things on my 35 GDSD and the amount of RPM that it is constantly turning is somewhat high in my opinion (nearly 4100 if I'm trimmed up a little) and need to run a prop with a little more pitch. Before I did the modifications, at the same prop height in the water, I would be running about 3600. I'd like to up the pitch to run 300 or so RPM lower...
From what I have read on her the 3 blade GD prop is 11x12pitch (advertised) but is most likely actually an 11.5 pitch. How much pitch should I add to the prop? Suggestions of who to send it to if I cant find anybody locally?

NONE!
I run mine at 4300 to 4400. You dont want to repitch or regear. It will bog in the mud. With that pitch and rpm you will have no problem with getting on plane. We did a test with a stock GD right beside me. The mud was a harder bottom. I was on plane and by the time I turned around to come back, the stock one was still trying to get on plane. Leave the prop alone. The 3 blade is the right prop.

Re: Modified GDSD and prop selection
The Mud Buddy prop doesn't have enough pitch with stock GD gears. I have a 35GDSD with a mikuni and marsh mellow exhaust, and I hit the rev limiter @ 4350rpm before the boat will get on plane. Stick with the 3 blade.
