Post 37 GTR drive shaft issue
What's up guys, wanted to ask on here before I called gatortail and asked them about it. My drive shaft coming out of the motor that is connected to the top gear and reverse planetary looks like it has play in it/ bent some. Has anyone had this issue or know if it has ever been an issue on these motors?

It is a 2015 with only about 90 hours on it.

It seems to have a funny knocking noise (thats the best i can describe it) when in idle reverse and forward. I guess I can post a video with it and see if the noise shows up on camera. The noise goes away when it's got some gas on it but that very well could be the motor noise just drowning the knocking out.

Anyway please let me know if y'all have heard of anything like this.

Thanks

Assuming it's electric reverse.

Look at where the reverse clutch bolts to the housing. There is a bushing on that bolt they may be worn.

2015 was Hydraulic on tiller and Electric on console models.
If it seems "Wobbly" make sure the jackshaft/crank extension bolt is tight. There is a pretty tight press fit on the jackshaft to crank. Just verify that bolt is TIGHT.
Tad is right about the clunking at low speeds especially in coming out of reverse with Everse... That bushing can wear.

Thanks guys. It's a hydraulic reverse. I'll check those and let you know what I find.
