Well - just chatted with my GD buddy Bart who is still hauling
2 boats at a time to Texas dealers to fill orders and he was tellin
me that GD is still in a frenzy of playing catch up on orders with
the aftermath of the storm disrupting shipping in their part of LA...

They had 42 motors crated and loaded on the dock today for
freight truck pickup...

Hopefully you got your parts in hand by now....

Got home this afternoon, and the brown truck had already been there. Took about an hour to get her in (it's a tighter fit as 1 piece than it is in 400 pieces). Took a spin around the river, and the "Slo-Devil" is officially back in business, purring like a kitten. It was easy as shit for me to fix myself, even though NO ONE EVER has had to tear one of these puppies open to repair anything! I even had time for a couple cold beers. The only complaint I have is that you have to seal the damn access plates with 5200 every time you open them (marine grade silicone: $14/tube). Other than that, it's a breeze as far as maintenance goes! I'm already looking forward to 'SPLODIN the next one! I'm willing to let this thread die now; thanks DDM and the rest of y'all for all of your help!
