Post subject:  Replacing prop and lower seal

I have a pd 36 and the lower seal is leaking near the prop. i am replacing the prop and lower seal and already have the parts to do the job. My question is, what is the best way to go about doing this? i understand the removal portion, but i don't know what type of threadlocker, anti-seize, or how to apply them properly. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks

You probably could use any anti-sieze compound, but i would look for a anti-sieze ecspecially for stainless to stainless applications to prevent gauling later on down the line..they make a compound called "Anti-Gaul". its in a tube and the compund is yellow..not shure who makes it but i can find out tommorow at work and let you know buddy.
