what rpm should i be getting with a big block vanguard with a big blade i was pretty sure that i was getting around 4k with the 11 inch but now i'm getting 3800 with a 12 inch prop is it normal ? |

Sounds about right. A larger diameter prop is gonna make the rpm's drop unless the pitch is way less and I'm assuming its not. |

I wish .in reality it's a water-cooled vanguard 40 that is used in small sweepers I had a hell of a time trying to get a manual it has a prototypemsticker on the motor stating not for retail sale
