 Re: HELP!!! Home build
Chain and sprockets...alot cheaper than a timing belt setup and it won't slip!!

 Re: HELP!!! Home build
v-belts are not the best, slip too much for this application. Like the other guys said chain and sprockets or timing pulleys with 3/4 to 1 inch wide belts. I used martin H pitch timing pulleys for my build, the H is for heavy duty ba beeeeeeh. Think I had about 150 bucks tied up in them+ the tapered bushings to go in them for the right size bore. Don't give up these home builds will whip your butt if you let them.

 Re: HELP!!! Home build
I'm using a outboard transom mount on my build as well and have been struggling trying to fab up a trim system. The ob mount has holes for statics trim positions but I wanted to be able to adjust it on the fly. Any ideas as far as the trim and very nice build.

 Re: HELP!!! Home build
coke machine was put on the back burner for now i need to finish it soon! as far as the trim goes, man mine only works when i lift it out of the water. that was the only thing i didnt think threw. mine would have worked better if i had lowerd it 3''. i tried to copy copper head MM theres seems to work good. if you had anymore questions be happy to answer them!
