 23hp w/ mods + clutch

Post 23hp w/ mods + clutch
I am looking to put an electric clutch on my 23hp surface drive. I am also looking to put exhaust, cam, carb on it in the near future. Will a 23hp clutch hold the extra power?

p.s. I run very little mud...mostly shallow water.
