Your age really does not matter. I just want to see what's in your workshop. There must be more priceless "ideas" like this one in there. Lol

Greatest "make do with whatcha got" thread ever!

Subscribed, lol.

By the way, wouldn't a trolling motor push that boat faster than 4 mph?

This is the best thread in recent history. I haven't laughed that hard since Crews and Pwilly went at it.

Good stuff.

Duals!

If you could make another one to mount on the other side of the boat, that would be awesome and take care of your offset issue. You wouldn't need a console, just run one with each hand. To steer you just let off of one a little bit and the boat would turn to that side.

It'll be like a catamaran mud boat!

you would be better off hooking the motor up to the paddle wheel.

Or

Remove the paddle wheel you will be .008 mph more by my calculations

That boat is retired now, until i have children so they can enjoy it with leg power lol

i have thought about keeping it on my 16ft as a backup if something happens to the outboard.

lmao

it works, i have made a few changes.

it now has a 6ft shaft and adjustable chain tensioner.
i still need to re-do the mount, but at the moment i dont have a use for the motor so it sits in the shop until i get the urge again.

i was hoping someone would put me out of my misery and buy it lol

If you do sell it, don't ship it to any Utah addresses unless you've got your patent in hand...
