is there any way a motor being in the water for an extended period up time like a year cause damage to the lower unit besides a little algae build up? assuming the seals are good. |

Not other than corrosion buildup like anything else left in water. |

would you think there would be corrosion on a PD left in normal non salt clear water? if so what would be corroding |

Nothing serious. If the seals are good I'm sure it is fine. I'd take it apart and clean it up and grease it good. |
