Hey yall was wondering do yall pump grease into the shaft after every run or just purge the lower unit out every 15 hours. Thanks |

I purge it after 15-20 hours.I've never just pumped grease into it,if I pull the plug to pump some grease I just push it all out until I start getting good grease coming out of the hole. |

Exactly, just purge it every 15 hours and only use da grease dat GT says use. |

I used Therma-Plex Aqua Bearing Greese as per the GT owners manual when I had mine - you might check with GT on what they want you to use now, I think they had started recommending another type of greese. You can get the thermaplex at Grainger Supply. |
