Alright picked up a 13hp honda scavenger couple of days a go. The motor runs perfect, but throttle was very stiff so i replaced it. Took it to the lake and it was slooow, 8mph. its mounted on a river hawk b60, basically a gheenoe, boat weights bout 200#. Got it home and decided to tear the thing apart and make sure everything was up to snuff. The bolts holding the motor on the mount were loose and the belt seem a little loose too. got the pulley off and tried to beat the drive shaft out (from the motor to the prop). Well it moved bout an inch or so fairly easy then a dead stop.
Anyone know what im doing wrong?
Anyone have ideas bout getting more speed?
How bout going smaller on the drive pulley?
Thx in advance
