 3 Blade on a 27 Prodrive ??? Wanting to get some feedback from someone that is running a 3 blade prop on a stock 27 prodrive. Speeds , load capacity etc....???

Re: 3 Blade on a 27 Prodrive ??? I built a 1648 mostly .100 and sold it to a fried that runs that setup. He runs 27-28 empty and 24-25 with a 3 man hunt load in deep water.

Re: 3 Blade on a 27 Prodrive ??? With the 2 blade I'm running 27 -28 empty in deep water and around 17 with a 3 man hunt load, if I'm lucky. That's what I want to know if the load carrying capacity is increased with the 3 blade. One of the guys that hunts with me weighs 340 and stands about 6'5". He damn sure slows me down.

Re: 3 Blade on a 27 Prodrive ??? Sounds to me like you need to make your friend loose weight to hunt with you, or make him buy you a bigger boat and motor!
Well , he has a couple of leases and I have a boat. When his leases have birds we hunt there , when the lakes and rivers are good we use the boat. I actually considers getting bigger set up but this one I have is paid for!!! He'll I way 220 , when we have a third , a dog and gear I probably have 900lbs in that little skiff. It handles well , you just can't get in a hurry.
