I managed to cross the rear seals on an older "straight tube" lower to a John Deere part # if anyone needs it. You should be able to pick them up at any John Deere dealer in your area part # AN71326 and the come in a package of two which is perfect. Hope this helps

Oh, forgot to mention the one on the right on the brown paper is the one gatortail just sent. I also crossed the front seal to a JD# but don't have it in stock to compare I ordered one to check it and will update this thread when it comes in.

Excellent. I was able to find every seal and bearing besides those, I never thought of JD. Good work!

The seal behind the taper lock is a national, part number 473259.
I don't have the numbers for the ones down by the prop but I should soon.
The seals in the planetary are timken part numbers 450400 & 475845
The seal in the planetary by the brake rotor is a 40mmx80mmx10mm no part number for that one.

I'll have to dig up bearing numbers.

are there 3 seals in the planetary or two? I have a leak that I can't figure out in my planetary so I'm going to be replacing seals.

2 that generally leak in the main part of the planetary are 4500400 and 475845 the one closest to the rotor generally isn't an issue.

Thanks BayouBuster, I have those on order if the Timken one will ever get shipped. I got some national seals on order too so whichever one gets here first is going to be what goes in it and I'll put the others on the shelf for next time.

bought a used GTR and have had it out twice and it puked its planetary oil both times. I found a torn drain plug O-Ring the first time and thought I fixed it, not so lucky I guess. I'm tearing into it as soon as the seals get here.

Has anyone actually crossed the drain plug O-Rings? I put an 008 on there from O'Reilly but I think that is too big and I need to step down a size so it doesn't squish around the head of the drain screw.

I haven't, make sure you take at least one drain out when you put it back together. I also use 90w in the planetary instead of motor oil.

I'm been running a different seal in my bearing cup for about 30 hrs now with no problems. So once winter time comes and I get in the nasty stuff and put them threw the ringer , then ill post part numbers for yall and there like 1.80 a piece.

I need that number! Been trying to find a replacement but haven't pursued it in awhile.
