Now back to the prop question, since the big blade is soooooo much better than the "GD" wheel that is sold for PD's. Has anyone though about or tried to make the big blade adapt to the PD to see how the performance would be???

FTR... the PD wheel is not exactly the same as da GD wheel. Close, but not exactly da same.

Carry on.

SP, Basinhunter was saying a while back when he was running the wheels for stump grinder that the last wheel was a 12X13 also and it wasn't quite enough bite just like you said. But he and ben I guess came up with 12X13.5 any one know if that has been tried? Oh and who has the big blades for the PD's I'd like to try one.

Anything is worth a try. I think pro-drive uses the cleaver props for a reason. Cleaver props are designed to give more stern lift while minimizing bow lift. If your turning that many rpm's just add a little pitch and/or cup to it and that will bring your rpms down. 1 inch of pitch is good for about 200 rpm.
