I've bought an old PT and had it reworked and its on the way back to me. Having never ran this prop I am curious of gains. I have a PT 3 blade and went to a BB from there. I gained about 2+ MPH with the BB over the 3 blade granted the 3 blade was/is worn down. I have read and been told the PT is a faster prop. I know someone has compared the two, we all play the game. |

I was only able to compare a worn worked Power Tech to a new worked BB. PT seemed to have better top end, but I was having to bury it to stay off the coils. I can measure it tonight but i think 11-5/8" last time I checked. I felt it was better in reverse in the slop for sure. I also know i have burnt a Power Tech up in less than 10 minutes before... there just isn't a whole lot of meat to them, probably why they were fast. |

So far the BB is 2-3 mph faster so yeah I'm not happy with the performance of the PT |
