Post Stock 37 efi prop ?
I know I'm fixen to get a ear full but can I run a hammer prop on stock 37 efi?

You won't be happy with the hammer stock. Big blade with some cup what worked best for me in Stock form.

You might be able to, depends a lot on weight, type of hull and if motor turns above 4000 rpm with your normal load. I would recommend trying one before you buy. BPS does have a return policy if prop doesn't work on you rig. If it isn't damaged in any way.

You really need a couple extra HP to turn it effectively IMO. If you have an exhaust you might be ok because the couple extra HP. What size boat are you pushing?

I have an 1851 and I won't run a hammer until I do mods. I would think you're rig would preform similar to mine. I would Stick with a big blade and have it worked up a little.

Might want to check your hull, could of developed a hook, or foam under floor is soaked up with water. Also check to see what gears are in drive. With mods you have you should be able to pull Hammer prop easily. I can get upto the 4700 rev. limiter with 38/47 gears on my moded BD45 running a Hammer prop. Motor is on a 1648 Alumacraft riveted Jon.
