I have followed the prescribed method for greasing my lower unit after break in in both the manual and video series. The problem I ran into is that the upper grease fitting on the lower unit near the belt housing is missing. There's a plug in the hole that I'm assuming a zert fitting is supposed to be. Does anyone know if they no longer want you to grease the upper zert? The lower zert is intact. I could not find a post that answered my question through search. Any help would be great. |

Do you have one or two? I have the one near the prop but not the one near the belt housing. |

They did away with the upper zert so no worries about greasing it. |

If it has a plug it has a sealed Bearing up front. |
