Hello everyone. Been a few years since I posted. Surprised I remembered my log on haha.

I searched on google and can't find a write up on this. The search on the mobile forum won't work.

I'm currently in the middle of taking apart the lower unit. I am currently stuck. The collar is stuck on the shaft and I need to either heat it up or use some wood and bang it off. I can hear and see bad bearing already by the prop. I may as well replace all 4. My question is.... what all do I need to order? I'm hoping my shaft isn't scarred up. If I get it Un stack and find the shaft js screwed. I'll order that too.

Are you talking about the collar the rear bearings ride on?

Yes. Their is a collar on both sides of the shaft. I've got the reverse thread cap off. So the collar is exposed on both sides now.

It's screwed on too. Don't beat it off. Get a good strap wrench unless you're gonna buy another. In that case you could just get a pipe wrench on it.

Not the collar with the pulley. The collar on the actual shaft. The collar the pulley uses was seized and cracked. It broke in half when I took it out.
