What’s your guys thoughts on this? Would it be possible to take a 3/4 hex shaft prop and thread it to 3/4? I’m guessing this won’t work but I figured I’d ask y’all. Maybe somebody has tried it. |

We saw a big blade once that was part hex, part threads. Not sure of your reasoning for doing it, but it wouldn't be that hard if you had a halfway functional machinist floating around. Getting a new prop would probably be cheaper. #CFFITR #GhostBoat #Whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

I haven’t been able to find a big blade style prop in 3/4 threaded. Stock prop is undersized afternoon performance mods have been added. I’ve got throttle for days but I just don’t have enough prop now. |

More pitch and cup would probably be your fix if you have rpms for days |

I had a threaded Big Blade prop converted to a 3/4" hex shaft size. I would assume a machine shop could go the other way. I also had a machine shop make me replacement shafts both threaded and Hex. Surface drives and long tails with replacement bushings. |
