This the launch?

Update:

We will be launching from the I-10 bridge on the trinity. If your set on launching at Wallisville no problem just plan to be at I-10 bridge by 1000. If your coming from baytown you will see the boat launch sign and exit just before the big(tall) bridge after crossing the old/lost river bridge. If your coming from winnie you will have to pass it up and take the cove exit and turn around.

I threw a map together showing the launches and the first part of the ride. This is all subject to change and we have not set a particular time for eating. If there is space at the park on charlotte we may cook there but we may go find a sand bar or even raft up under some trees on miller or mac bayou.

We shouldnt see any traffic once off the river..

sounds good. I know if we put in at hugo there is a really good trail i run from round lake. and another good one right as soon as you come into crazy cut that takes you into little lawrence. the one from round lake had spots of straight mud and its soft enough to run.

There are trails all over the place out there. I was able to blaze a few new ones the other day. Had to winch across 10' of dry ground but I made it.

Looks like I got two boats. 2-3 people. We will bring some food for our group as plans could change.

As of now I'm still gonna be there early to run lines before the ride. I need to get some run time on the boat anyway. Its been sitting getting GG the last few weeks. I'll keep this thread updated.

Also I dont have a grill, so either bring cooked food, or someone bring a grill. Though there is a good chance no one will be a the park on charlotte lol.

So who all is planning to come tomorrow?

Working on deer blinds and feeders .. So will be out. Oh well let's Instagator work on that BR549 project for me.

I'll be back at the launch at 10(interstate 10 and trinity), if people show we'll ride as best we can weather permitting if no one shows I'll go grab my lines around 11 and head out.

I got a pit and will be there rain or shine... I'm southwest in Angleton area and most of the weather that has been coming through for the past week from this system has been pretty innocuous .. Light to medium rain at times, very little lighting or high winds associated with this system.. It's not convective. Pockets of heavy rain, but concentrated and normally petering out pretty quickly..
