Does anyone need coordinates to the lease were riding at or the luanch y'all will be launching from ?

Im down for a ride on the 9th. Only about 60 mi from me. Launch location? and is everyone just meeting at launch?

I'm thinking of every one meeting becbec1977 at the west side luanch at the Cameron ferry. I'll meet y'all on the way from the private luanch I use. For those that show up late just take the west fork of calcasieu pass. My lease off of it. I'll give a contact # and just meet you at the mouth of oyster bayou if need be. Sound good ?

Made a lil run at the lease. Water was a lil high. The biggest part of the lake las oysters reefs realy bad, but found a few cuts that lead to other ponds some some are big. Looks like we will have fun adventuring around !

bad news Fellas !! just realized march 9th is the weekend of the Cajun HRC hunt test in estherwood ,LA. wont be able to host that weekend . if you want we can change dates

Well tell me more about this hunt test. Been thinking of getting my 1 year old lab in some hunt tests.

Any sunday is good for me except march 2nd

Mudslut...hunt test are in 3 different basic categories, its been a few years since I was in the game so anyone can correct me if im wrong, 1st level is started (2 single marks on land usually 30-60 yards, 2 marks on water (running/swimming) handler can hold dog by collar...4 passes to title 2 "tests" per weekend)

Seasoned (water double land double(50-100 yards) with blinds(50 yards?) And a walk up) 4 passes to title unless you have started title then its 3 passes (might need to check that fact)

Finished ( water triple land triple, land and water blind (100 yds) diversion bird, honor. 4 passes to title

Grand is national event week long 5 tests to pass...2 passes to title. Dont quote me on this.

Its a fun game when I get more time im getting another pup bc getting that HRCH title was a blast.

If u run started twice and pass u only have to pass season 3 times to receive a HR TITLE then u have to pass finish 4 times to receive ur HRCH TITLE

That was exactly right, It feels like I'll be wasting time. My dog has Ben on seasoned since October . But I'd rather do 3 seasoned passes instead of 4

Dogs get wise to running test with no collars to correct mistakes the least amount of tests u can run to get to the same goal is always better and then there is just those really great ones that run test like its nothing and are a pain in the ass to train lol

id deff be down for this ride but i dont have a free weekend till april.

My dogs runs great in competition , and will act like a retard training. When he gets to a hunt test it's like a switch turns on.

How do I go about getting my dog in the hunt test?

If it's not full up already. Finished has 3 flights of 30, I believe seasoned it 2 flights of 30 and I'm not sure about started, possibly 1 or 2 flights of 30

If I get the rest if the foam out of my front deck I Might make a run Thursday after noon at elender bridge. Prolly will ride in the salt ditch or some of the nasty muddy cuts regular motors can't go in . I'd like to see if I pick up any speed at all. anyone is more then invited to tag along !
