Already had another thread discussing a last Wallisville ride before hunting season.

Comment below if you are coming so i can get an idea of how many people are coming, i may bring a small grill on the boat and cook hot dogs an burgers or something for everyone

Sounds good. I'll probably cook. We found a nice sandbar down in the marsh to get in the water abd chill out at today. Its fresh enough the toothy fish arnt there and far enough into the bay the gators arnt either. That water felt amazing.

I'm probably out. Waiting on trailer parts, and don't have a free weekend or time before then.

I'm not gonna make it Jordan but I appreciate the hospitality. I'm in the middle of remodeling the garage while it's boatless.. and making room for a bigger boat. Yall have a great time. I whish I'd of been able to run the Trinity side a few days back it was super low. Would have been nice to see how the flooding has changed everything.

Showing it to be sunny now lol. I went and grabbed this little pit from my mom today. Should be good enough to cook whatever we need to on. I was just gonna grab 4 or so packs of hot dog's to cook. Anyone wants to bring something particular bring it and we'll cook it to! Sausage or boudin or whatever else it could be. I'm ready to go!

Been carrying one of these in the boat for a little while. They're cheap and cook great. One of the little small bags of match light charcoal is all it takes, I usually use about half a bag. Gas is nice for cooking quick but if you consider getting one in the future these make a pretty good boat pit.

Yeah I got one of those but it's a little big and take a while to heat up then cook on top of that. That little gas grill is easy to store and cooks pretty quick.
