There will be NO LA Mud Run this year, I had a fun time doing it over the years but as things grow each year it's gets out of hand.

After leaving the sandbar last year I wasn't too happy seeing every beer can in LA floating down the river. It was also reported to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff dept who also expressed their concerns about the event.

So you can thank all the trashy m'fers that are too lazy to pick their own shit for not having this event anymore.

Thanks to everyone to who helped make this thing happen over the last 4 years, it was fun.

Sorry to hear that. I had good times at the ones I attended. That is shitty though about the trash,my trash stays in the boat until I can unload it.

Yall don't get all upset about this yet this event is still six months away.
I thank Mr. Brooks Bourque for putting together the La mud run in the past.
He and his group did a very good job with the run and all that attended had a good time. Most people do not understand the time and effort that is required to put this type of event together. When I talked to Brooks at the end of the day he was drained. I understand his frustration with the trash that was left behind after the event. Mr. Guidry and I talked about this on the way back and passed lots of it in the river. After I dropped him off at the ramp I went back and picked some of it up.
Some people just don’t understand that they were invited to play in our backyards and they did not respect it as most of us do. I’m sure if the names of the people who chose to litter were know they would not be welcome to come play again.

It was pretty sad seeing all the chit floating down river when we left too. And sinking your chit is no better.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I have been to the last 2 runs, and they were a blast!! I too noticed the trash after the run. Its ashame that some people can't pick up after themselves. I know that the full garbage bag I emptied out of my boat when we got to the hotel wasn't all my trash. But I guess not everyone felt like taking their trash with them. I'm really sorry to hear this, but I can also understand not wanting people trashing your backyard!!

Its ok for us to do it... Just cant have people from out of town doing it.

J, I brought my trash back to the hotel, along with trahs from some others. So, feel free to invite me along for the next ride!

Well that sucks. We really enjoyed the run, sucks that there's so many trashy mofo's that gotta ruin it for everyone else. Can't blame Brooks for not puttin it on anymore, but I sure hope he changes his mind.

Brooks, thanks for all your efforts, I know how hard it is to organize and event like that. Just horrible that some people weren't reponsible enough to pick up their trash, I know I emptied an entire cooler full of jell-o cups & 28 beer cans that evening in the hotel trash can.

that sux... ive never been but heard they were fun and i was hoping to make the run this year.

saw that cummin. every ride I made, I was pissed about all the trash left behind every stop we made. my kids were discusted and did not want to go to another mud run... hate to see it end this way!!!
