UHMW some slick stuff
Just had uhmw put on my boat and the first thinig I was told was NOT to unhook it before launching on a steep ramp. And I didn"t. My problem came when I went to load her back up. Lined her up just like I always have and gave her a little gas to run her up on the trailer. Caution, idle up on the trailer. I never slowed down until I hit the bow mount. If it goes over stumps like it goes over runners, shouldn't feel half of them.

I have to wait till my boat is in the water to unhook it. Or else.. LOL
I try to beach my boat.... and it slides off.

Re: UHMW some slick stuff
Da stuff in the classifieds is to thick... Unless you wanna bolt it to your hull.
Wipe it down with acetone, sand it.... and sand it... sand it a little more...... and maybe a little more, wipe it with acetone, lay the epoxy, lay the polymer, apply the tape, apply the foam, apply the bag over the boat and fasten to tape, hook up vaccum generators, and let er rip.... Whole process took me about 5 hours...
