 Geaux Customs 1848 and bone stock 36PD fpr 1848 Geaux Customs Bare Bones............... 36PD FPR tall transom 1guy-my 8yrs old daughter 2 batteries trolling motor seats, full tank petro all deep water cruise- 26-27mph top out at 27.5mph at 4100rpm nothing special but happy................................for now

Re: Geaux Customs 1848 and bone stock 36PD fpr Try putting a K&N air filter on it and see how it does, with that and exhaust that motor may wake up some more (4100 sounds like its hot out of the box).

Shallow water: alone w/o trolling motor and battery
solid 28.5mph alone with alot of porpoise.....4100rpm....was creeping real close to 29mph at times but the porpoise was killing it
I am having a fuel issue wot it will surge and backfire.....Filter goes almost empty, Have checked and rechecked entire fuel line and tank and replaced filter.....called PD said to run a inline pump installed it this past Sun. hopefully get it in the water soon.......
Edit- ran it Wed. with pump, all fixed running 4100-4200- at times, with all the gear running in the 28plus range....................
