Does any on here own one and how do you like it?
Thinking of maybe starting to sell one of them since there are no mud motor dealers In SETX besides GD
I just don't know much about them

Everything I've read on here about Dixie has been pretty good espically when it came to customer service but that's just what I've seen on several threads here no personal experience with them.

I've actually had both and Dixie's customer service is by far way better, I actually sold my Beavertail to buy a dixie

i sold my copperhead , own a dixie 6.5, and waiting on a 23, ben been great to deal with , like his product , built well ,performs well ,looking forward to the new 23. bens puts 110 percent into trying to keep everyone happy, a humble guy, small company but growing, and trying to keep up with all the orders, over the top busy, may take a little more time to get your product but at the end you will be happy with the results and dealing with him.

I may have to get me a 35hp Dixie and try it out. I like to know the product I sell

You are going to have to extend your store before long! I have been thinking about buying a dixie for next year for the duck lease. I would be very interested to see it preform in person.

I own the 23hp. Dixie and have had great success out of it. It pushes my boat anywhere and everywhere! And the customer service is excellent!

It's on a 15' 42'' alumna craft! And yes it's riveted but I can't complain I'm 18yrs. Old and ain't made of money lol but the motor runs like a scalded ape!

I admit that I was skeptical at first, but I am glad that I purchased from Dixie MM. I have a 23 hp Dixie MM. I put it on a home made 14'7" wood/fiberglass boat (www.gatorboats.com duck hunter model). I have only had the motor for the past 3-4 months, but I have been very happy with the motor so far. The motor is strong, simple, and well built. It has gone through everything I have thrown at it. I don't have much experience with other motors, but they all seem a little more complicated. If you are simply looking for a reliable, simple design mud motor, Dixie is a great choice. Dixie also has some of the lightest motors on the market. Ben has been very good to deal with. I have asked him a hunderd questions and he has been able to answer all of them. He is easy to contact and is very willing to help. You wont be disappointed with Dixie MM.

Geomax have you ran that motor in the salt yet.

I have not been in salt water yet. Im a little leary about running my wooden boat in the gulf because of the rocks and oyster bars. The frame is all aluminum and painted with a pretty durable paint.
