 Re: dixie mud motors???
I have a 35, a few bumps in the road, but nothing they weren't willing to fully take care of, besides that very strong and for the money defiantly not a bad deal.

 Re: dixie mud motors???
i just got a 6.5. i have it on a beat up 1436. with me five gals of gas, rifle and gear it pushed it 15mph bumping 16. i bought the motor for a 1240 layout boat i built but havent finished it yet. the motor itself is awesome. i was first skeptical as the price being so low i wasnt expecting much but when i picked it up from fedex i was really surprised how well built it is. give ben a call he will help you out with whatever questions you have. excellent customer service.

Glad to hear you're happy with the motor. How long did it take for delivery?

 Re: dixie mud motors???
I've got a 10hp on order. It actually works out okay having to wait for it to be built. The slough thats behind my house I run my boat on is almost near draught conditions so it'd be hard to get anything out there now. By the time it arrives the season should be in and hopefully some rains will raise the levels back to normal.

 Re: dixie mud motors???
Took right around 6 weeks for me to get it. I would call Ben to get a estimate on time as they are pretty busy I'm going to order a ten to put on the 1436 and keep the 6.5 on the layout. I hunt the marsh and these little setups are perfect. Beats the hell out of the longtails we been using.

 Re: dixie mud motors???
I have a 2012 Dixie mud motor (Honda GX 390) at about 18 hp. I've got the Aluminum 23 frame.
Absolutely love my Dixie. I’m going to get the 35 after duck season.
The design and construction of this motor is top notch. Service is excellent. Ben’s a great guy and will go out of his way to accommodate you.
You can’t go wrong with a Dixie. Great value for the money and very simple to work on.
Best of luck

 Re: dixie mud motors???
I am looking at putting a Dixie on my 14' Alweld. Price seems really right and most all of the comments I see are positive.
