What’s the best performance hull for a pro drive?
Wondering what other people’s experiences were with different hulls on a pro drive. I have had a couple, a 36 on an excel that was awesome and a gator Trax I had built new with a new 36 that was honestly a pig. I’m thinking I want another pro drive after driving a few of the other brands a good bit but I really don’t see that many performance hulls built to hold that kind of weight on the back. I’m thinking of maybe a crawfishing style skiff that’s long and narrow with a high bow but I dunno. What do y’all think?

ohh, I don't know..... Maybe a prodrive hull.... But I thought that was obvious you want speed, 17x48 x-series.

Just have an all 1/8” hull built, no seats, guttered floors, short fish deck, top hat longitudinals, extruded gunnel rail, 1848 with 18” sides....lawn mower battery and a six gallon plastic gas can...you just got a performance hull.

My 1685lb hull performs really good steering and driving in chop and up curving creeks. Usually right at 2000# with me and few other items. Stable as hell. Heavy ass still run 30

I think a PD hull, 18x48. I personally have a 17x48,but my buddy has an 18x48 and his doesn’t “squat” as much as mine in the rear.
