All joke aside you can't go wrong with either boat , go with the one that gives you the best bang for your buck.

The kool aid must be strong in Yall's parts , might have to take a swig.

Re: Gator tail or gator trax
Duc, I'm not making it gator tail superior, this man asked the difference between the 2 hulls in which i have experience with, i don't understand how that is dumb, i've ran the motors and boats and different combos, so to say what i'm saying is just plain dumb, who are you, do you have experiences with these particular hulls, cause if you do then help the man out, if not then keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

Re: Gator tail or gator trax
I'm not argueing if they are built the same cause they are not by no means. Its a simple fact that one weighs more than the other how ever you look at it. There are plenty supporting facts and statements on this site that speak for themselves, hell if you look back there are some in this post. But hey who am i to judge

Re: Gator tail or gator trax
Ill say this and you can get Burt hurt all you want. I have never seen a hyrax boat that performs. The only thing that is nice is the turning ability in deep water. As for as performance in mud or any other area I have yet to see one were you just say wow!!

Re: Gator tail or gator trax
My 1750 measures 61" across the transom at the bottom of the crimp along the whole length of the boat. Beam is 70" as Barnes stated. Whatever that makes it comparable to, I don't know. Probably closest to a 1760. One thing to remember is, Gator Trax does not include the hunt deck in the size of the boat. My 1750 hd is 18'8" overall.

Re: Gator tail or gator trax
This may be a totally negligent side note as far as weight but gator trax boats have full level floatation in them unless you get the guide series which could account for some noticeable difference depending on which foam they use

It's like arguing over which is heavier, a can of beans or a can of corn. It doesn't matter, they are both tin cans. lol, silly rabbits.
