Re: Mud Buddy V Sport Remote Steer The steering rod looks the same as all their remote steer motors and yes they bend. I took 2 grade 8 bolts and made my own rod. Havent had any problems since.

Ya man,,,,,you "should" be turning that big blade at least in the 4700 range, i see no reason that you shouldnt.
I would say you should turn the hammer prop about 4500.
If the RPM's you posted were empty or light loads..
