Boat: Gator Tail 1846 with drop deck Motor:35 GTR with some Hoyt voodoo magic Mods: Cam, push rods, timing, port/polish, deck heads, exhaust Layout: Wide ass open, 3 movable hunt seat bases Comments: I picked up my new rig about a month ago and I love it, runs a smooth 34 mph with just me and about 3 gallons of fuel and runs 33.5 mph with me and brother in law with 8 gallons. Had Camo Designs put the paint to it last week and it came out stellar, thanks Ricky. Haven't put her in the mud yet but we will see come the GT run next weekend. Thanks to Gator Tail and Hoyt for tricking out the motor I highly recommend doing some motor work you notice the difference in torque and load carrying ability right away, alot more throttle response. |

Awsome boat!!! Mine is in the paint shop now. Same boat and motor but with the mossy oak break up. Hope it comes out as good as yours. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing! 18X54GTB 35GTR |

Brooks....if those pics don't make you want a new boat then you might want to check ur pulse. I forgot to mention I put one of them fancy quick release trolling motor brackets so all that's mounted to the boat is a 4" X 7" piece of hard plastic stuff and the trolling motor goes on/off in about 2 seconds, comes in handy when you just want to go ride around or when the duck birds start flying again. |

Nice lookin rig and good numbers, those quick release trolling motor brackets are the only way to go for these boats. |

Beautiful job by CamoDesigns..... What does the bottom profile look like ??? Is it "stepped" like the other boat in the other thread ??? |

Great lookin rig. If ya get a chance, would like to see a picture of the interior-floor plan. Is that the extended deck? Is there a gap between the hull and the edge of the floor, and does that floor plan have a specific name or style it's called? What type of trailer is that? Oh yeah, does any of those home's have slave quarters for me to move into? ![]() |

Post subject: | Re: 1846 Drop Deck GTB |
Silvercreek......it is a 4' front deck, there is a gap between the edge of the floor and the sidewall of the hull, mclain galvanized trailer, the floor plan is wide open only the battery is secured to the floor, it doesn't have a specific floor plan but the boat is an 1846 drop deck made by Gator Tail. Gigafowl....the bottom is not "stepped" like that other thread pic shows, it has an angle on the bottom of the transom to help with reverse, take a look at the first pic the angled piece is painted black just above the runners on the trailer. Everyone else.....thanks for the kind words! |

Nice rig man. I'll see you at the GT run and we will talk more about it. I am thinking bout having Lil Daddy work on my rig, But thae cost factor is stalling me. I might have to ride/drive a modded motor to make me change my mind. |
