I got my 4 man hide after last season so I have not hunted out of her yet. Would like to hear from any proud owners and maybe some tips. This thing is a tank but it will haul the mail. Love it so far but thinking about twins just have to wait till after the season and make a dissension then.

get the twins it will cost u about 25% more than a a rig with a stag 1 and won't need to go threw putting mods on look into it reliability peace of mind 2 motors a little more maintance but will push a monster load at half the wear and tear and you have the longevity throw on a stainless exshast and call it a day ;)

i have the 3 man and i have the MB 5000. i haven't had any issues with it except a loose wire on the alternator. it pushes her 29-30 with a full hunting load (3 men, gear, dog) i'm pretty sure you can only run 1 motor unless GT can make that mount wider. even with that you would have to run stearing because MB doesn't have a handle setup for duals. the guys that hunt out lease with us have a 4 man with the MB 4500 and it runs really well mid 20's with a load. i love my boat and motor. i've had no problems with the performance mods. most of the people out there doing the mods nowadays have pretty good warranties (SETX, EVT, etc...) only one i have heard some bad stuff about is gecker so stay away from them. you can always call kent over at GT and ask his opinion on what motor to push that hull. it's a great boat to hunt out of. you will love it!

I have had 6 people (950lbs) and normal gear in mine and gps speeds of 13-17. With the boat empty and just me (270lbs) gps 21-25. She is real heavy but I didn't buy her for speed I bought her to hunt in comfort and to go where the ducks are. My motor is bone stock and only has 20 hrs and will start everytime.
