I have always gone with the lightest color first. TAN :mrgreen:

Olive drab green

I used olive drab green on my previous boat it turned out really well

Check out the excel website, I believe they have a video showing how to paint using that stencil.

i think the actual base color is grey but when i did my boat the base was green and it came out just fine

I just painted my base yesterday. I ordered a gallon of gator boat brown from gator trax and I think it is going to be good. Look up deadbird8 thread on here where he painted his excels. He is the one I got advice from, his boats looks awesome when he finishes.
