Just bought this little rig for the small stuff and like it.. it pushes about 7 mph but one problem, having a lot of problems with the motor getting raped up in weeds and then not performing well at all, does any one know how to block the weeds some how? thanks.

messed up on the first pic , still learning. I had a 6 hp beavertail on my fourivers and it worked well for shallow water and hydrilla. Problem is your limited on amount of freinds to hunt with and short drives.

did the beaver tail get rapped up with weeds real bad 2? or did it work better also was just thinking about putting a 110 lb thrust trolling motor with weedless prop i feel that might even perform better that the briggs what do you guys think?
