MM Brand: Prodrive Horsepower: 36 Boat Brand: Brother Breaux Boat Size: 18 x 52 Boat Layout: Open with port side gun box The additions to the boat are as follow: - Extended Deck - Built in Gas Tank - Spud Poles with front and rear mounts - Removable grab bar - Pointed bow - Ridiculous paint job by Ricky Torres Speeds will be added at a later date. I couldn’t wait until the weekend to post pics. Comments: After much anticipation, I picked up my boat yesterday from Henderson/Lafayette. To be completely honest, I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I showed up, as I had seen limited images of my boat during the fab process. But when I saw it awaiting pick up I was astounded with the quality of construction, simplicity of the lines, and brilliance of the paint job. As many have stated before, if you can come up with an idea then Brother can turn it into a great looking and performing hull. I still have to run wires and install sharkeyes. Also, thanks to Oncall and Daddymallard, I’m waiting on my flush mount fuel fill. As everyone in North East Texas knows, we run lakes that were once timber that can be brutal on the bottom of a boat. Hopefully we solved that problem with a 3/16th” bottom and 6 2x2 longitudinal runners. We also catch frogs around cypress trees. For this reason, I thought the pointed bow was the only way to go. I felt that sacrificing a little floor space (and possible a tiny bit of weight distribution) was a fair trade for having a nicely sized deck to fish from. The ever fluctuating water levels meant that spud poles were a must. All in all, I you couldn’t ask for a better experience with a boat builder. You have to go into the transaction with the forewarning that Brother is a very busy man who builds a quality boat and definitely has a waiting list. As long as you keep that in mind, you’re fine. As for Ricky Torres, he is extremely professional and one of the more proud individuals towards his work that I have met in my life. From the time you show up, it is obvious that you are the customer and he wants to make sure you are taken care of. I will try to take more pictures in the upcoming week of the gas tank and completed sharkeyes. |

In your 5th picture. What is the purpose of those tie downs up near the extended deck? Edit... not the ones on the gunnels but inside. |

I will be able to cross bungee cords and hold a cooler in place at the front of the boat. Not sure if I want to put hydroturf on the floors at this point and I don't want anything sliding around. |

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. Maxxis you are right and I realized that shortly into the process. When you go to pick your boat up and see it for the first time it makes the wait very worthwhile. And like I said earlier, we should be able to meet up when I head that way sometime later in the summer. Clay, I did end up taking the motor with me. We mounted it in under 15 minutes. Probably closer to 10. All we had to do was mount it, put in the gas tank, and tap the pin for the grab bar. I did learn this . . . Brother works very fast. |

I havnt seen much for custom paint jobs but I don't have to to know that is a phenomenal one. I wouldn't b able to put hydro on it either or even walk on it for that matter. Nice rig indeed |
