Just got my new and first surface drive mounted and test drove it last weekend.

Wasn't sure of what speeds to expect but according to my Garmin60csx in open water I got her up to 26mph with my wife, 2year old little girl, cooler, and two dogs. Overall, I am very impressed and I have yet to run it in the lakes I hunt with lots of shallows and vegetation. I'm sure I could tweak the trim a little more/move weight around in boat to achieve more speed but I'm comfortable with this speed on a stock motor.

Go-Devil gets my 100% approval!!!! Customer service can't be beat!
