 black death 4500 on 1648 war eagle
very happy with it 3 guys cooler fishing gear on plane in seconds beat a 35 with carb exhaust prop and one guy in an empty boat 15ft no problem black death is awesome it gets pretty wild crazy fast with an empty boat and one person took a while to get it from them but well worth the wait mb is the way to go did very well in the veggies too black death is the way to go full load hitting the rev limiter 4250 it hauls ace

had 23 mini on it before then added blind and neo mats and dekes too slow but bought boat new in 2008 with motor and trailer decided to upgrade now its awesome love it but try to get pics soon

Black Death motors have Iron Mountain heads, oversive valves, billet pushrods, roller rockers, intake and carb. The 4500 has a single carb, and the 5500 is a twin carb setup.

gotcha so these engines aremost suited for the surface drives i suppose im still pretty new to these and im still figuring out the longtails

The "Black Death" is a factory modded engine, you can order the parts and put them on any 35hp vangaurd.
Not that you would want more than 35hp on a longtail...
