Hello Everyone, I live up in the East Texas area. i am looking at getting a boat/ mud motor in 2012. I am looking at a gator trax (18x54) and mud buddy 6000 combo or a prodrive boat/motor combo for hunting and fishing. i also want a bow fishing deck. I am looking for a all around boat that you can do everything. What is your feed back on the: Pro drive, mud buddy 6000 and gator trax Thank you. |

Test drive, test drive, test drive. I don really know alot about these set ups but I would look into getting a custom built rig. Uncle J is on here he builds and a few more also. The money you would spoend on an assembly line rig you could have built to your excact specs. Motors, well I like the Gatortail or Pro drive.Both have reverse, but the prodrive has full power reverse, so if your rolling iin alot of mud id say prodrive, but alot of grass and pads only...flip a coin IMO |

Get a motor with reverse, and use the search feature. |

Save your money and just get a tunel hull with an outboard. No need for a mudmotor her in East Texas. us that have them just want to be cool! |
