18 x 48 Aucoin Bateau w/ 36PD
18 X 48 Bateau 3/16 bottom Wide rails Built in gas tank 2009 stock 36 PD Could not be happier with the boat or with Ricky and the work he and his people did on this boat. The layout is wide open like I wanted it. Told Ricky what I wanted and he delivered exactly what I wanted. Guys at Aucoins Fab are great guys and do great work. PD guys were helpful also. On my way to pick up my motor caught a flat on my trailer and had my spare in my other truck. KP came meet me with a spare and tools to change the flat. This is my 2nd PD so I pretty much knew what I was getting. Very happy with the 36. Took the boat out a few times in deep water and these were the speeds on the GPS. By myself 185lbs nothing else in the boat but 8 gallons of gas hit 32 mph and averaged 30 to 31. Myself and another person 140 lbs Average 29 to 30 mph. Tried to post pics through photobucket but internet here in Africa is to damn slow and keeps timing out. Will post pics when I am able to get a faster connection.

Thanks for the comments. Ace I was but I got tired of waiting so I just bought a new one. Is you're boat finished? When I get back I'll give you a call and maybe make a ride one day. Still gotta paint it and do a few things to it like LED rope lighting inside and a go light.

Re: 18 x 48 Aucoin Bateau w/ 36PD
does your boat not have any cross braces on top of the braces that run the length of the boat?

Re: 18 x 48 Aucoin Bateau w/ 36PD
my cross braces are bent up so bad on my 1648 pd that my next boat will have to have a 3/16ths bottom and probably some cross braces
