just got the boat yesterday.hung the motor on it this morning, ran it in the river this afternoon.

18' sully skiff 54" bottom. 3/16" construction
open layout, 1 seat base, built in storage box at the bow
20 hp go devil long tail, worn out prop.
plastic fuel tank with 5 gal. in it
standard battery
2 men about 180lbs - 200lbs
gps speed 11 to 12 mph deep
gps speed 13 to 14 mph shallow
tested in the river, not much wind, not much current.

will post up more pics soon and more data after i get a new prop. so far i really like the set up. i have a few mods i want to do to the boat. paint, head lights, need a stern light, going to be building a gun box at some point. i was really pleased with the speeds considering i was running a 14/36 alumacraft and getting only 1 mph more with the same load with the same motor and worn out prop

what was really nice was the fact we both could stand on the same side with out dipping the side under water. in a coupl years i will be able to upgrade the motor to a 35 sd. still haven't decided between a prodrive or mudbuddy/ gatortail.

Ok, got the prop changed out,
Deep ran 14
Shallow ran 16-16.5
This was hunting load,2 guys @200 each ,75lb lab,and another 60 lbs of gear my 20hp lt is a crawfish model on a tall transom boat
overall, I'm happy with performance. at least until I can get a sd

Pretty good speeds for a 20 horse. Nice looking boat.
