Well guys some of yall new I was doing a restoration on my 17 x 52 GTB and GTR which include new paint and rewiring and rebuild of motor, the end results of this rig is really impressing me. First ride in the boat after completion was this weekend getting some duck holes ready for hunting season boat and motor preformed great, im still breaking new rings and pistons in on motor so i babied it for the first couple of hours running at different rpms for periods of time to get correct break in on motor, i laid into the throttle for about 10 seconds and this was the result on gps, 2 guys,(215) and 320ish) 12 gals of fuel and normal boat items 36.7 @4810 and rpms were still climbing when i let off, conditions were flat calm water about 6 ft deep. Well really was able to test out the motor with a load this weekend, during the lake boeuf opener i had 6 in my boat with a 120 qt ice chest slap full to the top going from blind to blind and she was holding 28 MPH on gps touching low 29 a good bit of the time, now these speeds were in about 4 ft of water, and still no kaboom.

heads decked .060 and ports opened up and polished and oversized intake vavles with stock size exhaust vavles and shimmed springs , timing advance, EVT intake 45 MM HSR mikuni, marsh mellow exhaust no baffles, BPS cam, and bps roller rockers with bps push rods |
