I'm looking at a 24hp (honda) Mud buddy hyperdrive. Need s a new prop but other then that its good to go. has about 75 hours on it. I'm looking to put it on a 14-15' hull. prob wont be a mud hull cause i dont wanna spend that much. i know its not gonna be fast but Do you think this motor will push a boat that size at least high teens with 2 guys, gear and a dog? What do you guys think is a fair price for this thing and what kinda hull should i look for aside from dropping 5-6k on a mud motor hull.

I've GPSed a friend of mine's boat like what you'll have.
His is a 23hp Vanguard Mudbuddy on a 14'x48" Alweld.
With 2 people, no gear, his runs about 22-25 mph.
We've ran loaded down with 3 people and gear at what was for sure over 15 mph.
